Sleeping in separate beds

Based on current trends, the National Association of Realtors predicts that by 2015, 60% of new homes will be built with separate beds. Their idea is that by sleeping in separate beds, couples can get along better. For example, one person gets too hot, or hogs the covers, or snores, and the other partner can't get any sleep. Divorces often happen for just these reasons, because the couples argue all the time as the result of lack of sleep. What do you think about this?

i doubt if thats true.. I believe by 2015 men will have learned they can't win an arguement with woman and will learn when to shut up LOL

My bedroom is always full of something or some one . Usually a dog and two cats but somtimes a lady friend stops by and wants breakfast in the morning . . wink

maybe it's just me but i actually liked it when just before sleep you could cuddle a little and just have a little talk about eachothers day. that was one time we could actually talk relaxed without anything or anyone interupting us. So i would miss being able to do that if i ever have a relation again

I love cuddling up and chatting to someone in the evenings, if I'm with someone, I don't like having the bed to myself only. happy place

wow, people have lost patience and tolerance nowadays have they? Why get married if you can't accept partner's misgivings on trivial matters as simple as snoring? or even keeping the tv on till he/she falls asleep? doh doh doh

The idea do not scare me. I think one duble bed in one rom and a spare bed in another room could be good. Sometiems this and sometimes that. Besides i like bobans hallway idea...

wink I have and can handle the covers and bed hogs but the snoring I deal with like trying on a new pair of shoes WAY Before any kind of commitment = purchase . . If they are uncomfortable you move on to another pair to you get just the right fit . . In a relationship and sleeping separately . . Not for this cat !
