I'm in Heaven !

About 1/2 hour ago,
I got home from doing some food shopping.

After I unloaded the car and put things away,
I wolfed down a bowl of whole wheat pasta with
a quick butter, garlic and basil sauce.
I also had a salad with red leaf lettuce,
carrots, cucumber, tomato, onion & beefsteak tomato
topped off with a little balsamic vinegar.

But, the pièce de résistance was dessert.
This was a generous slice of deep dish
blueberry crumb pie topped off with
a nice scoop of Haagen-Dazs rum raisin ice cream. applause

T - unfotunatley, there's some truth to that.
But, one doesn't need a PhD to eat poperly.
They just have to make the effort to do so.
Most people realie that fast food is unhealthy.
But, they eat it anyway.
Hi Jim, I like your healthy life style...
Good for the body, mind and heart!!!thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up
Sounds lovely except the ice cream!!conversing
Calli, that makes up his 20% bad in an 80% good dietthumbs up

Its better to be slightly indulgent, (the operative word being slightly), it could prevent over-indulgence
Jim, I have a friend who operates an animal sanctuary in New York, and she loves the kind of food you describe here. And the ice cream? Never heard of that particular flavor, but it sounds nice.

But what's this about a woman driver? Did I miss something? I'll have to check your blog and see. Glad you're okay, though.
Jim your story made me think of something. There are several very attractive clerks at the local QFC, and most of them are married. But there is one particular lady who I especially like, and she's single, too. If she's available, I always try to go to her aisle. She's so bubbly and happy, and she has the most amazing people skills (what some people might call "bedside manner".) Whenever I see her, I say, "Hi, princess", because she looks like a princess. Anyway, I would love to get the groceries home and find a sweet note in the bag that was an invitation to a date. I would be in heaven with this clerk.
