O'Bama.... The Presidency.... The World
The powers that be here in America, are powerful indeed...... I don't think that the planning for the results of the election are complete....
I am not so sure that the table has not been set for what may be the optimum optical illusion by a person inviting us to dinner, then walking out of the house, locking the doors,and setting the building ablaze.....
Having seen what happens to people who try to do good for the people here in America causes me much anxiety as to future events...
No, the powers that have gripped America in the last half century are powerful, even dangerous, and with the social climate having already begun to unseat and exclude entrenched mindsets, it is easy to concieve the notion that there will be many hands willing to have passed the can of incindiary intended for our proverbial dinner guests...
Will the idealism of what America represents, set forth in O'Bama's victory speach, come to pass for America? For most of the nation, and the world, it is hoped that the dawn of a new day born of the free will of people to decide on the governing of themselves, will not only provide a beacon of hope to a nation whose idealisms have been transformed by glittering distractions, but provide a symbolism to the rest of the world, in the dawning of a new day in the season of mankind itself...........
Just once, in my lifetime, I would like to see idealism win out over those forces who shattered my dreams as a child of a better world, with the assasinations of Jack and Bobby Kennedy, and of course, Martin Luther King..... Just once I would like to see the world come together, not as seperate nations, but as a people, not only with intent of providing a better sanctuary for those living among us, but with an idea of preserving what the earth has left to yield, for future generations.... in short, stopping the greed and pilfering of that which is not ours to steal, if we are to survive as a species......
But, I know in my heart, that will not come to pass..... The world will continue to go on as it has in its inevetable ride into the abiss.... Mankind will never pass over the threshold of moral responsibility it has placed on itself in religious doctrines from every corner of the globe.... The mind and spirit of man does have the fortitude to overcome his innate animal instincts, but in the end, it will be the survival of one, that will override the needs of the many, and when it is all over, he will turn around, and while viewing the devastation in his wake, realize the crimes he has committed..........
