Spared no expense
On Friday night I took my date to a VERY expensive place.Given the high prices,
I was somewhat surprised that reservations
weren't required in advance.
When our waiter walked over to us
and asked what we wanted, I ordered.
Now, I admit, I did not order
the most expensive offering on their menu.
While it might have impressed my date,
honestly, it would have just been a waste.
Instead, I told our waiter,
"let me get $25 worth of regular....cash."
What ? Gas stations are expensive these days !

By the way, I remember when I was a kid, they had that gasoline called "Ethyl". I remember one ole drunk guy who had only two teeth ask the attendant "Hey Pawdner, can I get two dollars of Azzzzhooo?" lol. The attendant then directed the man to the red light district area. lol. (just kidding).
