weird things fans done to idols
My second blog!! Yay!! This time, I'll try to minimize typos :DThinking back.. I believe my love for all Korean things started with an accidental event where I was watching infotainment and they were talking about this Korean boybands and girlbands and my eyes were glued to this gorgeous male called Siwon.
He made me go to youtube and watch their music videos. Less than one day,the John Meyer, Delta Goodrem and Jon McLaughlin fangirling ended there for me.
Super Junior, TVXQ and Girl's Generation rushed to fill the gaps.
That's how I became an avid fan of Kpop.
Today I read about crazy things fans have done for their idols and I was shocked with what I read.. Some were sooooo extreme scary and some were so weird..
1. Slapping and scratching nails: it's quite familiar to hear fans do this to their idols but still it's annoying..
2. Stalking: this also quite familiar. I guess most celebrities from all over the world have ever experienced this.. I would do to.. To my those cute Korean boys if I live in Korea, if I don't have a baby, and if I don't have anything else to do..
3. Kidnapping: now this.. is something I would never do.. Why? Because it's... Well it's illegal..
4. Blood letters: Writing fan letters in blood as a symbol of devotion to an idol, because it involves pain and sacrifice and also creates a bond between fan and the idol. What really shocked me was that some fans are drawing bloods from, their NECKS and WRISTS!! Seriously, they're getting mental!! Yes, MENTAL!! Really, they could DIE!
But that's not what shocked me the most... Because what I'm going to write bellow is the most BRILLIANT (if you don't want to say it ridiculous) thing to do to your idol..
drumrolls and applause, please...
5. Letters with special inks:
If you really want to give your love notes an intimate touch, then you need a special type of ink: PERIOD BLOOD.
Only the smart fans do this because they understand a certain type of logic that the fans above do not, which is: why cut yourself when you have a fresh supply of blood every 28 days?
Above is the image of the famous letter written to a member of boyband called 2PM, Taecyeon. It is also covered with sprinklings of pubic hair. The translation of the note:
I dedicate to Taecyeon my period blood letter
Ok Taecyeon, You cannot live without me
Sprinkled with a few strands of my pubes
Bellow is the image of Taecyeon
I love gifts but, this is just…not up to standard.. Messy writing and ugly paper. Also why would you use your blood to state something that is obvious? I think the Taecyeon boy would know what pubic hair looks like.
As much as I like Jejung and Siwon, I would never dream of doing any of the above to them (except the stalks, I would reconsider about it even now that I have a baby). Not because I'm sane enough or anything, it's actually because I’m so cheap, I don’t even send gifts to them.
Isn’t my love valuable enough?
Jejung

and Benni, I googled him but must have got the wrong man.
You are such a cutie, you can have any of these Boyband Boys.
Go for it. Life is short. Do it for all of us who were not so cute or charming.
Then, you must have the night of your life and blog about it!
tee hee hee
Unfortunately, I bet I'm not their type since I don't meet korean standard beauty (though I am now dating a korean but of course he's not as cute as those boys above). I watched too many Korean music videos and I came to a conclusion that beauty for them means milky white skin and twiggy type of body.. I'm 160cm/50kilos and when I googled those girlband bios, I found out that most of them are taller by 2 or 3 cm than me but weighed like 6 or 8 kilos lighter than me.. Ouch...
I probably should google their diet secrets and blog it here hahahaha
