A Little More About What Drew Me To Cape Ann....

There's certain roughness around the edges to the people of Cape Ann that martches them to it's jagged shores that I find especially endearing. Of course, I gotta warn ya... My favorite character on the old Bob Newhart show was George Uttley (the idiot savant of down-east played by the late Tom Poston).
Most notable is literally my absolute favorite 'old timer' here on Cape Ann. His name is Bob O'Neil and it was his tough old whittled out character that first convinced me this was where I wanted make my permanent home. I had decided after becoming professionally successful that I needed to put down permanent roots and start a family.
Having to have a focal point of the greater Boston area, I started by ruling out where I didn't want to be. I first ruled out the South Shore, primarilly because it was just too far from my job in Bedford, nobody in their right mind commutes THOUGH Boston if they can help it.
