Free Speech a slippery slope to social Decay ?
I'm not one for watching the News.But this story caught my eye while browsing today.
Do we have the right to burn a book in our garden should we choose to do so ?
Should we burn books at all ?
This news story got me thinking as to why the act in question was being committed, Obviously some words or ideas in the book were found to be offensive to the Person in committing the act.
Does this justify the actions ?
If written words can cause such offence,
were do we draw the line on Spoken or verbal Ideas and opinions ?
Or should we draw the line at all.

In the case Nonsmoker gave in his blog, the girl did it out of anger and desperation, I guess. And the reaction came from people who were even more angry and scared than her: scared to lose their total power on people s minds.
