Go to a concert, or stay at home ?
Why not do both ?I've been to a LOT of concerts in my life.
To me it's usually quite a bit of fun, if the music is good.
Last night I watched a concert without leaving my home.
This is only the second time I've ever done that.
Both times were regarding someone whose tour dates & locations just never coincided with my schedule.
The first time was a DVD I bought for my ex-girlfriend
(well, she wasn't an ex at the time).
She grew to really like the band 'Simply Red' from my CDs.
I own all of their CD's.
She had remarked one day, that she would really like to see
Simply Red play in concert.
However, unfortunately, Simply Red rarely make it to the USA
and when they do, it's often on the west coast.
So, one of the gifts I gave her for her birthday one year
was a DVD of the tour of the CD release 'Home',
which was filmed in Italy.

However, last night I stumbled upon a somewhat recent concert by another band I've always wanted to see, Sade.

I've never seen them in person, but own all their CDs too.
Nonetheless, thanks to Youtube,
I was able to watch all 2+ hours of their most recent concert tour,
filmed in Buenos Aires,
(they only tour about once per decade),
'Bring Me Home', right online.
They put on a very nice show.
I was very happy that I invested the time to watch.
Thus, one night (tonight ?)
when you have a similar amount of time,
click on this video, select the full screen mode
(the open rectangle at the far right bottom corner of the video) and enjoy.
I did.
They did a nice mix of their old and new music presented in a nice artistic way.
It's clear, that detail was important to them.

But, Mick Hucknall of Simply Red is a much better vocalist.
I'm sure you had a good time.
Did his performance ....thrill you ?
I like Sade.
Your just a big old mellow softy at heart
M - guilty as charged.
