in her eyes
HopeBut I don’t know if it’s enough
As I swing in limbo
From the lips of her cusp
And it’s hope
That keeps me going
And it’s hope
That lets me cope
And it’s hope that makes me think
Like why’d I do the dope?
And it’s hope that lets me see her
At the end of this…
Proverbial rope
Hope
When I open my eyes
And it’s hope that lets ‘em close
When the tears and the cries
Ruin my disquise
‘Cause inside I hope she sees me
in the light of surprise
with delight in her eyes
at midnight
a full moon
Shining bright I surmise

Nice work.
I'm not a poet, never could do works of prose, this was really good.
Thank you for the read.
