In each hand a black cone holding a flame

The instrument being played was at least nine feet long
Producing the sounds of ‘ohm’ in a wind percussion song
.. ..
With primal operatic precision the dancers flowed
To the rhythm of the night as the candle light glowed.
.. ..
To the divine vibration in sync and so graceful,
Like the swan taking to flight, all movements sensual
.. ..
Like a morning glory opening her petals
Absorbing the dew of the day in soft pillows
.. ..
Laden with symbolism to the fire and air spirits of element
Five ladies as the pentagram, light the center to melt
.. ..
Into a perfect ten
of the hands that at the middle met
.. ..
Their bodies moving to the ‘ohm’ in a symphonic creation of life
As it always has been, since the very beginning of human time.
.. ..
And will continue till time ends
with the lithe swing of the serpent
.. ..
Deocile in circles, all five as one
As well within their own circle they spun
.. ..
The next dance was performed as a single unit
Bells ringing with the rhythm of percussion,
Bass and Violin filling the night, in
.. ..
Sync, in harmony, that required no vocals
To achieve three parts bass, tenor and alto
.. ..
The finger bells and gowns flowing
Each one different with bold color growing
.. ..
Their bodies shimmering from top to bottom
Like feathers from a bird during a molten
.. ..
Easily maintaining the unity of the flower
As it accepts the rain at the sun set hour.

To quench its thirst
Pure color that bursts
.. ..
Into a kaleidoscope of endless patterns…
