tell me please if I was wrong
Yesterday I got a date from cs. It was the first (real) person with his (real) intention to meet me at a (real) place - i mean not just skype or yahoo chat.The realization of all of that made me very excited and so I spent the first part of the day matching bags to the dress, the dress to the underwear (or vice versa - i dont remember exactly;), washing my hair, making the right hairdo - matching my dress once again, manicure, pedicure, choosing the right perfume, make up also suitable to all my outfit, long story short - spent huge amount of time on all that.
When I was ready it was just a couple of minutes to get to the place in a hurry.
I rushed in my car, then drove very fast, breaking as many rules as only possible just not to get in prison :).so i was just 10 minutes late at our place (a seafood restaurant) as according to ethic code any woman should be (yei, i found this somewhere in books:)
To all my surprize nobody was waiting me there and after some very long 15-20 minutes of nervous anticipation i finally made a call. The guy told me his sorry and that he would at the place in some 20-25 minutes (more!!?) and would explain everything to me then.
Eventually! When I saw him entering the door my heart was a scream, i would expect to see everything but that!
Tousled hair, unshaved, filthy clothes, dusty shoes - omg, how could one come that untidy at a date!
He also stared at me very surprized, obviously i exceeded his expectations, geez but so it must be - at a date!
After a while, when the awkwardness of first hello, wow, and nice to see u, left him alone, he finally came around to his explanations.
He told me a story about his mom having a stroke right at the moment he was leaving the home and as he had to drive her to the hospital.
He also gave me an advance notice that he couldnt stay with me more than 1 hour, because he had to come after her and if all was good, take her back home.
All that didnt sound very natural but I thought, whatever it might be, the guy still had his rights for some private secret reasons, becsuse geez it was just the first date!
I was quite okey with all that, but the third part cracked me up!
Gee...he forgot his wallet home! What a surprize!
Now I knew for sure what it was all about.

some many moons ago when i was still young and pretty :) i was very casual and unscurpulous about all dating thing, so I could appoint 5 dates a day and manage to visit all of them. And even if the second, third or fourth guy was exactly what i needed it never stopped me from checking all the rest.
Who knows, maybe the following one is even better :)
again, i repeat myself, i was young and stupid.
But who would tell me a 40 year old man was playing the same game! Hell, i would never believe!
That was it. I know for sure, i can read peoples gestures and feel when they lie. I ve got my intuition, my guts feeling, which most women have.
So, sure it was a huge dissapointment, but what can one ecpect from a dating site?
