Women In Chains

It really p...es me off when I hear some people say "Why are women STUPID enough to stay in an abusive relationship?". A woman who is being abused is generally "Brain washed" into believing many things, for instance..." I'm stupid, so if I leave how will I support myself and my children"....or "If I leave he said he will kill me and my children"...or "I must deserve this"... Or "he only hits me when he's drunk, but Always apologizes and says he loves me when he's sober". These women end up with low self esteem and no confidence, in their mind they see no way out and stay out of fear. It takes great courage or strong support to leave.
WELL DONE to the women who found the strength to walk away , and my heart breaks for the women who never will.

Nicely said Serena its sad but it happens good luck to all who can get away from it. The ones who say that probably havent thought about it and just opened there mouth, or have had a charmed life and know nothing of that type of thing.wine cheers thumbs up wave

I must say I do agree in what you say. I have had girl friends who has lived in abusive relationship and I know how hard it is to get away from this. So to the women living in one, I do feel with you. For the women who have gotten away from one, Good for you!hug hug teddybear heart wings bouquet

They are damaged women. Emotionally strong women do not put up with such things which is why these men pick them.
