I lived for 6 years, barely 75 meters away from a river & actually had the chance to practice the lifestyle of Mark Twain. I spent hours fishing, swimming & wandering along the banks of the Umgeni River..I didn't meet my "convict" though! grin

Hey, throw us some famous Arabian authors...wine hug
Reminds me...lightbulb Arabian nights..
Oh, the love, the love of books. I share that love with you and cvan proudly tell I have read thousands or 10 thousands of book during my life, and I still love to read them. I use the local library every month and I have read such wonderful and different books over the years I can not tell about them all. I too started to read Nancy Drew, and the Hardy Boys, and then I read some book from the war time, my mom had. They were Norwegian Books with no translation, but they were good books. Then I started to go to the library and went true all the books from Agatha Christie. Oh my they were good... the best book serie I have ever read is from a Norwegain-Swedish lady with the name of Margit Sandemo. She wrote a saga about witches, troll, warlocks, love and hate and love again, and this saga is still 47 books I read about once a year. I am so familiar with the characters it's like they are family to me.
So the world of books is very important to me... I love to get a new book, smell it and then get to read it and fall into its world.
Thank you for bringing this subject up... I do really love books.hug teddybear hug bouquet hug
tip hat
Welela ~ am glad, you're one of us...grin I actually think it unnatural if a person doesn't read & would have difficulty in relating to that person.
I will look up Margit Sandemo, thanks... hug
