Books!Books! Books! Journey down memory lane!
Hey All, Hiya.. ..I was on a blog last week, where books were discussed & it prompted me to search my memory banks for those I had read.
So, without further ado & a time line as my guide...I came up with these. .. Please feel welcome to add your selections or choices
My very first book! Goes back decades ago... And I wonder why my doctor says I'm having memory problems! Ah! I haven't paid his bill!
Haha... anyone remember these characters?.... Noddy, Big Ears & PC Plod...
Aesop's fables followed soon after..
to be continued.....

My first book was a primer in school

Books are in a world of their own.....I'm sure you'll agree..

MarketMark TwainI lived for 6 years, barely 75 meters away from a river & actually had the chance to practice the lifestyle of Mark Twain. I spent hours fishing, swimming & wandering along the banks of the Umgeni River..I didn't meet my "convict" though!

Reminds me... Arabian nights..
So the world of books is very important to me... I love to get a new book, smell it and then get to read it and fall into its world.
Thank you for bringing this subject up... I do really love books.
Welela ~ am glad, you're one of us... I actually think it unnatural if a person doesn't read & would have difficulty in relating to that person.
I will look up Margit Sandemo, thanks...
Time for a non-commercial break...
