He said it 3 years ago - now, undeniably proven ri

The Irish lower to middle classes are the slaves of European elites.
It is not an economic war of nations but a war of classes, again and again and again.
Please note, in my opinion, German, French, British lower to middle classes are *not* to blame. They are as much under threat from this vast scale corruption and manipulation of governmental powers as the Irish.
The difference being, they would not let themselves be predated upon as much as the Irish do.

We are being *crucified* for a debt we did not incur. The regular Irish workers are currently bailing out *PRIVATE* European and International banking institutions *failed gambles*.

Thus, as far as the cost to bail out unscrupulous gambling bankers, the Irish top the list with every man, woman and child owing 15,000 Euros.
In 2nd place, every German man, woman and German child owing 800 Euros approx.
The other European nation states "owing" significantly less.

And true to what Jim says above here, our complicit politicians are now imposing new tax after new tax, and cutting essential front-line services to pay for all this illicit gambling of which we had no part.

- With the recent months of very cold weather many of our elderly have been admitted to hospital for hypothermia due to insufficient funds to heat their homes.
- 60% of the population now have less than 50 euros left over at the end of every month after all major bills have been paid.
- 2 people a week are now committing suicide.
- Government are now trying to *illegally* remove protective legislation as laid down by our constitution to protect citizens from losing their homes by repossession in such dire economic circumstances. Circumstances engineered by those who are now profiting from it.
- School kids are being asked to go door-to-door to fund their local schools essential expenses. They regularly have to wear their coats in class now as their local schools can't afford adequate heating while our politicians sit in a nicely heated parliament building, have grossly inflated salaries, expense accounts, and millionaire's salaries whether they do a good job or not!
- Michael Noonan our "Minister for Finance" attended the last Bilderberg conference - at the expense of the Irish tax payer! He now won't recount what was discussed, and the implications to those who elected him and pay his lavish salary!!
The monkey's in charge of the bananas as far as control of our hard-earned money is concerned!

Any Irish reading this, support your local march. For God's sake, and your children's sake, get out on the streets and protest against this blatantly obvious predation. Tell your friends, give hell to your local FG/Labour & FF politician for broken election promises which were merely uttered for election and personal gain, and do all you can to raise the awareness to the world, and the Irish people who NEED TO WAKE UP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

How are you Vulpine.
Frogs on a slow boil always come to my mind. Already most familys have to make a decision to eat or heat.
Hi lads...Forty shades of green.....Sixty shades of red....how true eh!moping conversing
doh

There is no point frustrated

What you said is true in most of the countries.

But strike protest may not be a solution though it may be necessary to make a point to check the uncontrollable attitude of the authorities who runs the government.

It may be worth while to have legislation passed to publish the assets of key figures. relatives and friends in the government to check the amount of wealth amassed during their tenure.

This increase in tax will go on till the government becomes capable to provide surplus to the treasury. This is a long process but i feel that easy for each one of us irrespective of any country we live in is to have Surplus individual Monthly Financial Report for our family once this starts and continues for a long time we will not be effected much by the happening around us. Once we are Financially capable we can start helping others.

It is always better to start at home.

cheers

Wish all of you success at home (FIRST)
yes the speculators/gamblers lost but still get paid out, its hardly fair but we still have to pick up the tab, that's the reality now!!!...nonsense politicans with broken promises etc etc,i agree.

here's another reality that I've known many years since the ''CELTIC TIGER'' began...our economy was basically funded by the construction boom this in fact was the CELTIC TIGER...it was inevitable that our economy would implode wen the construction sector collapsed which was always gonna happen due to overly inflated prices and peoples greed...the home was seen as an asset, which is wrong mentality...normal people like teachers/accountants/lawyers/mechanics/garda/factory workers etc etc would buy 5/6 houses/apartments for investment purposes,it was actually the average normal Irish person that would create such property inflation along with much to easy to get ''CREDIT''from banks...was all about SUPPLY AND DEMAND!!!

now wen we borrow credit to buy property/car or whatever,we are expected to pay it back and if not our assets can be taken from us,its that simple and the deal we have made...the banks don't care if our properties have de-valued by an average of 50% they still want their money, fullstop.

the Irish people right from the top down speculated/gambled and for awhile we were winning...WE ROLLED THE DICE ONCE TO OFTEN and now were a little sorely cuz we lost rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing this is life...
yes things are more difficult than before...but how many of us don't have something to eat each and every single day??? very few if any!!!

lets spare a thought for those in critical situation around the world and quit our whining and moaning...we are not third world country and should be thankfull for our situation...

march??? personally I rather get up early and do a long hard days labour and help my family out...

but I do like to speculate...kinda my fun thing...and if I lose so be it...i'll just try againsad flower
i listened to Jim Corr...better off listen to the expert economists!!!

it is the Irish people who voted to join European Union...they give us hugh funds and investment...did anyone really think that there wouldn't be a price for this along with interest??? really???

my vote was No...but am not dictatorlaugh
I am sorry but I think things will get much much worse before they ever get better.......doh crying
