Some Words.
I wrote these words as a Celebration of Education.I have had many problems in my past related to Schooling and its structure as I Imagine many others have. Perhaps these words will strike a cord with someone and perhaps not. I am foremost on this site a blogger or try my best to be, so I think my words belong here. Before I file them away in the Poetry Corner witch I advise all to take a look at. It is truly full of talented People.
I am the word-smith I twang the chant out
Your ear is my anvil. the hammer my mouth.
Your mind a blank canvas of that there’s no doubt
the Prologue I paint, You can never wash out.
Clink Clink a Clink. Think, think I think.
Under the spell, sink, sink we Sync.
Relaxed now you listen to the bang I have tapped,
You float in my vision. Your mind it has wrapped.
No longer the master, You know to submit,
to the image I give, with Your soul It has knit.
I reminisce learning, My words hitting floor.
I looked there for sweet sound to make my words soar,
It was there in the Dirt of the words of no good.
I combined combinations, stirring a flood.
now I guide you and bind you, I forge you in lore.
Tidings of tied words rise up from the floor,
Dirty and sullen my words float to shore.
I learn to reuse words to say even more.
A weaver of words, I start off with a thread.
My mouth is the spindle that looms in your head.
My mind is a Temple that keeps thought in line.
The Fabric of your world has now become Mine.
Relaxed now you Dream in the pattern I wrapped.
You float in the vision. Your mind it has trapped.
No longer the master, You know you must Yield,
in the Dream that I send You, You lower your shield.
I Perfected my tapestry, not without cost.
Some words on the loom in the past I have lost.
Forgotten and threadbare these words were so old,
I Stitched them together in this story just told.
now I own and control you, I have bound you in silk.
That was born from a sows ear, These words are her milk.
From a silence to utterance to sentence to roar.
Without seeds in minds soil these words are no more.

Thanks
Well said.
You stetched pearls.
You bound us in Silk.
So glad you liked it.
So you are a poet and I did not even know it.
But you should read some of the stuff in the Poets Corner
Those guys are dedicated
Gracefully and greatly spun together.
I was twice a judge on singing, dancing, musicianship talent shows, but never on literature. I am not so qualified in such areas, but I know what I like, and I know what sounds good when read. Your poem flowed like a song.
Again
Congrats!
