I see I that I'm a little late, on guessing the riddles, but I enjoyed reading your blog, nonetheless.
Interesting that in the new heavens and new earth there will no longer be any sea (Revelation 21:1). I imagine, that the new earth will have a greater increase of land surface, because of the disappearance of the oceans.
Yes, salt is indeed, necessary for life. However, one day glorified humanity will inhabit a glorified earth recreated and adapted to eternal conditions.
