what are the chances

of the insanity of humanity,
Becoming ingratiated on the pathology of our robotic servants.
As God has created us in His image. We now as creators will make in ours. The big question is will the Image we create be as disturbing as the History we walk away from. As we stand at the foot hills of this new age of Human Ingenuity, what will our creations ask of us and What will they see in our examples ?

Here are two short Films that Dissect the relationship of the personification of the Machine mind. uh oh

Good question, Dedovix poses. I'd have to say all of humanity seems to be looking for their own personally perfect "machine". We even use the expression with admiration when we see someone capable and energetic and determined. At least here in the US, where we're all jagged on coffee, it is not an uncommon compliment. I even hear me encouraging myself at times. "You can do this. You're the machine."

Non's original question has often crossed my mind. I write scifi and my characters seem to have minds of their own once I "create them". One gets attached (strange as it is) to their created fictional characters. I try to give them all redeeming traits that can allow them to overcome whatever unfolds, lest I meet them one day and they ask me "Why I made them so unsuited to the realm I also imagined." Creation/art/technological innovation is the pinnacle of achievement/self expression, but it should be undertaken responsibly, IMO. Compassion and foreward thinking consideration of the likely outcomes should guide our present endeavors.
Oh dear! I'm presently building an alternative universe into which quite I hope to emerge at the next near death event. I would very much like to run across all of my creations. They're all so fair and deadly: terrible beauties. Even the "evil" ones I love and have vested with the ability to transform their selves whenever they so choose. As a conscientious creator, I so look forward to the chance to look them in the eyes! (In fact I just finished writing myself into emerging in their world! And what a world...)

Heilein believed in creation by way of imagination. Mine has run rampant! I am building worlds and crackin the barriers between the realms by weaving parallel stories into my own factual life as these "fictional" stories emerge into it: Little bridges across probable realms into parallel worlds.

The mind folds in upon itself when left too long alone. "I" may vanish entirely soon. (Perhaps I need to get out more.) You'll find whatever is left of me on Amazon. "Little girl, Lord of Strife" is "Lord of Bridges" as well. Maybe some of you will read them and I'll see you in the world I am presently making when you find your way through the tunnels. No one ages there. Everyone is beautiful. Tir na nÓg: Where even your "enemies" make you laugh. smile Bring whisky, lawyers, guns and money.
