Humanity

The Dali Lama when asked what surprised him most about humanity made the following reply - Man because he sarifices his health in order to make money, then he sacrifices his money in order to recuperate his health, then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present or the future;he lives as if he is never going to die and then dies having never really lived.

That Dali Lami is one smart dude

For those that do not know the Dali Lama is the spiritual leader( in Exile) of Tibet. In 1949 the Chinese invaded and annexed Tibet and the United Nations did nothing.

that Dalai Lama is in fact one smart dude. those are some of the wisest words I've herd.

Actually the Bible speaks of this long before the founder of the yellow hat school of tibetan buddhism even existed (1357)
