Parenting... LOL
Gosh ...I have never thought that Im those traditional parents, I give my daughter lots of freedom regarding her personal stuff, as she has always chosen what to wear , even if that included tutus and bunny ears everywhere... oh , she had bunny , kitty , bear , monkey ears ,and I loved it to be that way -she says now shes too big for that hehe- . Same time , since age of 4 she cleans her room and baths herself. Enven sometimes prepares breakfast for me -not using the oven of course. Im not strict with grades but very strict with good manners, saying please and thank you its a golden rule for us... and she gets great grades anyways.
So I can say that Im very proud of what I have done. This little parrot wich is my daughter , is a great kid and I like my strict -giving parentings style... but this parents went way further...

I used to wear beanies, hoode etc..(I know now it's fashion now...but decades ago?)
Worst was at times, I'd drive in my dressing gown!
