Don`t give up on love as it comes in many shapes ,forms and when you least expect it
( sounds like a cliche and fortune cookie philosophy but time will do the trick )...
It's like if you are asking ” do I exist?”
As long as you exist, you can be in love.. with a man, with a tree, something or everything.
Your true question is: ” will anyone love me?”
Well, most likely yes. But that's something outside your control; it's other peoples business. What's within your power is to distill yourself to your best essence.

Although I understand what you're trying to say in terms of respect, those that do not respect others first do not respect themselves... in so far as each personally defines the meaning of 'respect.'
The depth of wisdom inherent to what steffffje shares seems great and not something that is necessarily understood at face value... I don't know how else to say this but this way - it seems his sharing is truly of a contemplative nature... and if you allow your heart (and soul) to process his sharing... you will somehow truly know (visa vie experience) what he's saying.
I hope this makes sense. Anyway, yes, Love more than exists.
