nice to be needed and loved but I think the thing here is that you aren't treated as a possession, and people who can be happy alone let you be yourself as well. Weather the jealousy side of people may appear is hard to say though.

What u say can be true,but I.can honestly say in my marriage there was non of that of course we had our fights but I'm being to see what I had was rare far and inbetween
I.dont mind being alone independent but if it was my choice my husband would be here and I would be needed if I could turn back the hands time.
