I say that on my profile, no photo, no answer. That works out just fine... but then they ask for your e-mail address to send you a photo... whats wrong with people? I do not know, and it is not for me to know either... But I stand for my believes if you can not cough up a photo on this side, then I will not write with you. Easy as that... You go girl!hug teddybear

If a picture can be doctored, false or old, then why do you think that merely posting a picture completes a profile? You know no one on here, even whether they are male or female, until you actully meet them. Further, the answers to your question posted so far show really good reasons why people do not post a picture. By the way, I have gotten more responses without a picture than with one. Have a great day.

Georgia: how does the posting of a picture tell you what that person looks like if the picture is in fact false? I do not understand your logic.

seems a bit silly if you think about it i mean if a pictureless person actually met someone online then went to meet them in real life they are going to see them then .
unless they just have no way of putting a picture up .

I agreed to meet someone in person without him having a photo on here. Only realized the afternoon of the meeting that I don't have a clue what he looks like. I must admit I panicked for a couple of minutes. He was very pleasing on the eyes and we enjoyed each others company a lot. Maybe I was just lucky as it is maybe a risk to meet up with someone without a face.

There are many reasons why people don't post pictures. I actually put one up to satisfy someone who thought I was a fake, and my mailbox was inundated with mail.I'm here for chat and friendship so people can judge me by my words not my image. wave
