Social grace

I understand I should be careful with my phraseology when I blog but I do not get paid to quarrel so I do not pursue such matters. Still I like a little Bible verse that says that in the multitude of counselors there wanteth not wisdom.
Here is where I need some opinion just in case I am lacking and may need to attend social etiquette school.
A not so young lady went on a date with a man and refused to go out with him a second time because at the restaurant he used the fork to put the food to his mouth bit off a piece and put it back on the plate.
Is doing things the proper way all that important?

To some it is but I call that being pretentious. Life is too short to worry about stupid little rules most people don't even know about.
sounds as if the lady was judgemental, know who would never do that? Happy369moping
it is important to have good manners, but something's are just plain silly.
