Nature Walking in a 'Winter Wonderland'
I'm comfortably warm, in not yet sunny, Florida now.
However, before I departed New Jersey, we got hit
with a couple of snow storms.
My neighbors joke, that they know when the first snow is about
to hit, because they see me loading my car for Florida.
However, in reality that's not exactly true.
Honestly, I LIKE to stick around for at least the first one.
This is because I like to take pictures with the snow as a backdrop.
I particularly like to take shots of streams winding through snowy woods,
evergreen trees with snow on the branches, deer in the snow and icicles.
Well, I didn't get any icicles this year. The conditions weren't right for them.
But, I did manage to get a few of the other shots and some other types too.
I was lucky to get a male & female pintail duck,
a Canadian Goose slipping & sliding on the ice,
and even a small waterfall.
