Remembering Great superheroes

I could go back to when I was a child and I can remember so many different superheroes, but I have a select few which stand out in my mind as being head and shoulders above the rest.

Spiderman - the geeky boy next door known as (peter Parker) was the last person we would have suspected as being a superhero, but by chance he was bitten by a spider and from that point on he would spin a web into the history books as a major superhero

Batman – Know as the famous orphaned billionaire playboy (Bruce Wayne) he would have an encounter with bats as a child and that incident created a very darkside to his personality and he would go on to use that darkside to put fear into the eyes of criminals.

My favourite has always been superman (Clark Kent) posing as a bubbling newspaper reporter the friendly kryptonian born alien was the perfect role model for children to look up to and unlike all the other superheroes he was not born of this earth, but he continue to help earthlings regardless of our shortcomings and never gave up on us.super

Obviously this blog is just for fun and I must point out that as far as I know no criminals were harmed while I was writing this.

Who’s your favourite superhero?

thumbs up thumbs up
Daniel, Yes you have very valid reasons for choosing spiderman and many would, because he does no stand out as a typical superhero, but instead a guy who just happened to be in the right place at the right time to get bitten by the spidercheers
Go, Yes the late Christopher reeve was superman in the movies and in his real lifehandshake

A super guy full of courage, compassion for others and it was very sad he left us, but he did leave his mark and he will always be loved by many for the good person he wasyay

How could I forget to mention the incredible hulkdoh

Here is the original pilot episode for you lot to enjoygrin

@Welela ,
I always thought it was Bluto???
My superhero as such was Tarzan Lord of the Apes, after I read the original story by Edgar J Riceboroughs around errmm 1963, defies all odds to survive as an infant then to lead his family and protect them. DC Comics had many heroes, Green Lantern, John Jonez to name a couple.
My all time favorite even to this day, is the Phantom. He was the very first comic hero, yes he started it all. I have many others that I have liked over the years, Superman of course, Spider-Man, Batman, Wonder Woman, Daredevil, the Silver Surfer, Darkhawk, Thor, Nightcrawler, Tarzan, Shazam and many others. It's such a shame that there are no cartoons on like the ones I grew up with, or reality based tv, like the Incredible Hulk, Tarzan, Shazam, Wonder Woman, Batman, I think that was it that came out in the 70's and 80's.
