Jesus Miraculously Calms a Storm
That day when evening came, he (Jesus) said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side." Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the waves,"Quiet! Be still! Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other, "who is this? Even the wind and waves obey him (Mark 4:35)!"He who created the natural world has power over it. Through the storms of life our faith is tested, and so the Lord reminds us... "Be still and know that I am God (Psalms 46:10)."

Thanks for your blog...shew I needed to be reminded today of who is really in charge and who to keep putting your trust in...
Hello my friend. Yes, I thank Jesus, that his light is shining on me both externally (the sun's rays) and internally (in my heart).
God bless!

No sun burns? In heaven no such problems will exist (Revelation 21:23).

I agree. To put your life into the hands of the One who is in sovereign control, makes all the difference in having that eternal security, in the midst, of our present circumstances.
God bless!
