battlefield of the mind

Amazingly how satan attacks the mind..for he knows once he has control over it then you are in His power..when he can produce fear inside your mind that's when he can contol your actions..the bible teaches us to be of sound mind "being of sound mind means to also think clearly".When we are going through some kind of storm we seem to take our focus off God and Jesus Christ and focus on the problem instead of how big our God is..I have heard a phrase "don't tell your problems to God..tell your problems how big your God is"Many times in life we face those mind giants and loose focus of God and focus on the problem and forget to look back on the pillars of life where God has taken you out of. Keep your focus on all that is good in God..because what you focus on in life will overtake you.

p.s. Thank you Doc for your great contribution to Blog on Pollution and the video [very upsetting] about waste. I believe Fear doesnot come from God, it says in the Bible so many times 'Fear not' so God doesnot want us to be afraid. Yes to a scientists mind it all seems boloney, but have you though how come that flower is just so perfect and the trees, the bark and all the markings on a leopard? how could that just have 'come about' I respect you dont believe and that you even seem angry at a belief in God.

Hi ! i believe we all have fear, we need it in order to survive, for instance, a woman wont go down a dark lane at night, she feels an inate fear, this is survival. Fearof letting your toddler out alone, fear that a rash could be an illness makes you see a doctor, probably im not giving great examples but every human being experiences fear, on one form or another. Thats really interesting that you don't feel any. Fear is the opposite to love [ I believe] not survival fear, Im taking about anxiety you are very lucky not to suffer from fear or anxiety. Most people do.

Nessa a hi back to you...firstly thank you for your comment...now to answer your question as you have directed it to me...so I will give you my view point on it...to imagine that God would ask someone to sacrifice his son etc would be devastating...but to imagine a God that says that and actually goes through with killing your child etc is another thing...so the God I serve has asked Abraham to sacrifice hiS son...but did he go through with it...the answer is no...God provided a sacrifice himself to be given....this was a for taste of what was to come where God gave his son as a sacrifice...if you look at biblical times where those who were worshiping certain gods offered there children as burnt offerings to there gods...the God I worship was upset and furious at what they were doing. I hope my answer is sufficient as I would not be able to answer it any better..

I did not ask "if" you had a God that will ask you to take a life in his name ... I asked, say he did ask you to do that .... Would YOU do it??? cus it was written in the bible ....
