Connecting Singles?
I'm posting this blog because I am somewhat disappointed with this site. It is promoted as 'connecting singles' but is actually 'connecting friends'. In the time I have been here I have seen plenty of activity between friends, old and new, but precious little between 'singles' looking to get it together.Hey, I am open to correction, but will I be? Can any of you deny that there are people on this site that are 'connected' but stay because they like the 'banter'. Can any of you deny that there are people on this site that do not wish to be 'connected' but who like the 'banter'?
The forums are the raison d'etre behind this site and are the reason it continues to exist.
Hey, I may be cynical and morose but I'm not wrong, and there lies the truth of it.
Is there anyone to contradict me?
I hope there is but you'll have to send me a message because I don't hang around waiting to see if replies are posted to threads.
I'll respond to all messages I receive and that's a promise.

Oh wait, it was a dream.
Only a small percentage of members post in the forums and blogs. Whilst the vast majority observe.
Over time you can learn a great deal about someone through their various postings. And i'm convinced that many "sink or swim" on the strength of this. So the forums and blogs are a great way of presenting yourself on a grand scale!
Make use of this opportunity in a positive way!
