but I know some women think they know better and wont use any help to bring up their kids .....but at least give it a try ..
When we go to a restaurant we see mom on the phone, dad on the laptop.
The kids sitting there bored, or playing their own games.
We watch the families and see how little they talk to each other
We live in a far more transient society where people no longer commit to a job, or company for life. We're expected to change employment and move about with rapid frequency.
This has had an impact upon relationships which also become more transient as we move about. It has an impact upon family and community.
We need practical and emotional ways of coping with our rapidly changing worlds.
Great doing! Far too many people forget that families are the building blocks of our society.
Good blog!
I am older than I think most of the people here on the blogs. I have seen a real breakdown in society. I won't go into everything but our society is way to permissive, respect (is a foreign word) and work (is also foreign for many). About a month ago, a young man was talking to me about getting turned down for a job. He ask me for some tips about interviewing for a job. Part of my background was as recruiter for an international insurance company. As I was trying explain some things to him, he was texting on his phone and did not even look at me.
This is a very deep topic about families. I am sure everyone has a story about it.
The bible does say: "train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it".
