HAVE YOU EVER
Have you read anything that makes you stop and thinkabout yourself? Make you think why you do most things you do? If you do good things,does that make you a good person? Hmm what if you only do good things for self gain? Well not only for self gain ,surely there's nothing wrong while being good to others you take a little for yourself after all life is all about surviving self sufficiency. Am I feeding my evil side with this way of thinking

I guess we always want what we don't have...and too blind to see our blessings...sometimes we do things for others because it makes us feel good...nothing wrong with that...hope things with you are good!!
If you are only doing good for other people to make yourself feel good, then i would consider that to be NOT a good thing.
Seeing as i know you well, i know that you are a selfless person and would do good because if would make the other person feel good.
You have special qualities and being a gentle, respectful person is a part of those special qualities.
We all have inner demons, but what defines us as good people is how we put aside self gratification and help others without the need to be rewarded other than to feel good within ourselves.

I think there isn't person alive thats does something for nothing everyone wants reward for things now what may be wrong is what you want as reward or how much and I dont think wanting to feel good is a bad motivation to doing things.
