What is a Racist card

I am asking myslef if I have. ever played the racist card and for the life of me I cant recall ever calling any-one a racist.

There are some people that dont like me ,Yet I would not call them racist and on the other hand I dont like them as well
A my then a racist ?

Here in the Netherlands I speak dutch with an accent alot of times in a office when I ask or talk about some thing in dutch thay give
me an answer in english, thay understand very goed and what I have ask or said.

But answering back in english is condescendin and rude
Here again I dont think this behavior is racist < I think thay want to show off there english >

Please dont get me wrong I know full well what racisme is and this does not only apply to white people.

There is also the matter of put people in classes < I am not talking about having a first class ticket > This is also a form of racisme.

For my slef I see you first as person no matter where you are from .when we can talk about the garden I am glad if we can have a game of cricket how nice. or we go fishing , but just Good morning to each-other is also good.

wave Hello FlYJAMES, As it was said earlier, we all bleed the same color. I have observed a number of people ,who don't get their way play the race card, these people a lot of the times are bigots, bulleys, drunks, or addicts. they will scream anything to get their warped opinion across.
You heard that saying we earn respect, I believe we should give it away to everyone, along with that respect should go a smile, hello, and at times a handshake.
Hi Fly yay (nam and lost stole my cookie) moping but back to you sir yay racism, is a judgement based upon cultural indifferences, race, ethnic origins etc...may be the language, accent, culture, color of the skin, spiritual beliefs, its what history has programmed into the souls of people scold making people feel different, not liked, judged, and feel less than as a result of a lot of these and more scold

Everyone has a heartbeat, a soul, everyone in this world are beautiful, the beauty lies within our indifferences of culture, its wonderful, we are all so different, but ALL are beautiful, we the same, the heart tells all teddybear

and those that are racist need a fuken kik in the fuken a**, dumb fuks boxing jmo teddybear

My environment at present does not readily allow for the race card because whosoever will can become a millionaire and it is money and not race that counts.

I try my very best to treat all people with the respect we all deserve as individuals, rather than on the basis of preconceived stereotypes. professor Except cricket players, of course! I mean, hey. ..ya gotta draw a line SOMEwhere! doh ........laugh handshake cheers
Good day, y'all! tip hat That goes for y'all cricket players as well. wink
hiya james, I think holland and belgium are pretty similar in this case, the racism towards blacks isn't to bad, its more directed to the turkish and maroccans. In my opinion this has much to do because they are mostly muslims and theirfor have trouble to fit in to our western society.

Also those 2 nationalities are often mentioned in the media for negative reasons and that also adds to the hatred towards that entire group of people.
The same to you sir. Mic. I cant make head from tail of American
foot ball but I am good with your foot-ball and I love cricket sorry.peace

Hi Flyjames, Hello, I'm yellow! Still wanna be friends with me??? giggle giggle giggle
Before the Turks and Moroccans , the Surinamese and Antillians , there were the Indonesians and half caste Indos as they called them back then . People returning from a life in colonial Indonesia , where many a Dutch Soldier or civil servant had taken an Indonesian wife. These people felt racism back then in Holland as well. Now they are a very usual sight in the melting pot that is Holland. When the Turks and Moroccans came in the seventies , they were different , but now the kids of these immigrants are Dutch as well fitting in as they know they should, or adapt to survive.
The Surinamers who when they first came were exotic and very different , naturally not all they did may have gone down well , whites generally en mass seem to hold superiority over dark nations. Observing and often condemning , simply because they are different.
I have been in every Antillian Island of Holland and never felt any form of racism because I was a minority white person. But in Holland , even some other Dutch people , have looked down on me because I speak Dutch with an English accent , but I too am ethnically Dutch, I have just been brought up outside Holland.
There will always be racism , it's something that can only be overcome by yourself. I just don't see people differently , people are people . We are all gods children , it's individuals that count, not groups who do bad things . There will always be those .
discrimination, mobbing and contest between all sorts of people is nothing unusual.
even in a family, brother, sister.

but it is only side.

and it is hard to be bad but somehow always necessary if u think of the slaughterhouses, though u have people who may have to do it for u.
Hi Mimi I have never seen you as yellow
To me you are a lovely ladybouquet
Thanks Nicefeet you have said it just right.

Sorry about your friend pasting away.hug hug
Guadal thanks for your input.handshake
Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism. It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man’s genetic lineage—the notion that a man’s intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry. Which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors.

Racism claims that the content of a man’s mind (not his cognitive apparatus, but its content) is inherited; that a man’s convictions, values and character are determined before he is born, by physical factors beyond his control. This is the caveman’s version of the doctrine of innate ideas—or of inherited knowledge—which has been thoroughly refuted by philosophy and science. Racism is a doctrine of, by and for brutes. It is a barnyard or stock-farm version of collectivism, appropriate to a mentality that differentiates between various breeds of animals, but not between animals and men.

Like every form of determinism, racism invalidates the specific attribute which distinguishes man from all other living species: his rational faculty. Racism negates two aspects of man’s life: reason and choice, or mind and morality, replacing them with chemical predestination.

A genius is a genius, regardless of the number of morons who belong to the same race—and a moron is a moron, regardless of the number of geniuses who share his racial origin.

Like every other form of collectivism, racism is a quest for the unearned. It is a quest for automatic knowledge—for an automatic evaluation of men’s characters that bypasses the responsibility of exercising rational or moral judgment—and, above all, a quest for an automatic self-esteem (or pseudo-self-esteem).

Mr.Conrad that was a mouth full an eye opener I might say.
Thanks for the comment.cheers handshake
Conrad A very interesting and articulately written piece, but try and tell that to the National Front, Neo Nazis and myriad other Groups with 'Educated' people at the top. conversing Fear and Ignorance is alot to do with it. It has been strongly suggested due to various studies/findings that the Irish came from Africa. Now that went down well !! Cured alot of Rascism here. Ironically, those who have been at the receiving end of Rascism, can be the worst offenders when they get into the majority. My humble opinion.conversing
goldengloss, i agree, just look at the crimes the jews are commiting towards the palestinians and keep hiding behind the crimes committed towards themselves during WWII. As if a crime towards oneself justifies to become a criminal.
@ Teddy...

How would you regard the medics imprisoned in concentration camps who suffocated new born babies, knowing if they didn't they'd be thrown in the furnaces alive?

@ Lord Fly...

I think the 'racist card' is often used to bully a silence from someone when they say that a behaviour is racially prejudice. We should perhaps hear each other's voices and have the humility to learn.

However, to label someone as 'a racist' negates that person's reason and choice in just the same way as racial prejudice does.
jac, when you gotta choice between 2 awful things, choosing the less painful would be better choice. But this has been 70 years ago.. you think those events can still be used to justify their own crimes towards other races?
I'm not trying to justify any atrocity, Teddy. I heard a tale, or two from an Israeli ex who was conscripted into the army when he was barely more than a boy and it wasn't pretty.

I'm just trying to understand.

Perhaps the people in Israel and Palestine think they're making a choice between two atrocities, just like people in the West are brainwashed into thinking the war in the East is the lesser of the two evils.

Casting the first stone, and all that jazz.
