To all native english speaking, please advice

Dear all,

I got annoyed every time I got a long message without comma or full stop. Not only because it is not comfortable to read (or I am basically annoyed because I am a writer/editor) but because I notice scammers do that. Or even he is not a scammer, I think a messy writing is a reflection of a messy way of thinking, don't you think? But then again, I am not native, so I wanna ask native english speaking, do you think it is important to write properly, or because you speak english in a daily basic when you write you don't pay attention anymore whether you write properly or not (comma, full stop, spelling).

Please advice.

applause angel and congrats,,, u really live your role to the fullest, good going, keep it up.cheering
English isn't my first language and I am aware that I make syntax mistakes etc. from time to time.

When I started off on CS, I got most mail from locals,

Hi how r u ?

Wana meat upp?

are some examples of poetry I received. I don't mind some spelling mistakes as long a someone can put together a couple of sentences, but when I got post of someone with the spelling and the vocabulary of a 3 year old, I wouldn't have any interest in communicating with someone like that. wave
KNenagh Thank Gawd, I thought it was only me who got those replies to my profile. I got one tonight, like you say, and I just couldnot 'go there ' [hate that expression] his English is like you say, like a 3year old. Attitude bad too.
I try and type quickly in reply to blogs and there are plenty of typhos, grammatical errors, I don't think blogs should be about being eloquent of pen. Its to have some cyber fun /stimulation and as the lady said previously if you want to speak the queens English, write to her. cool Are you with you Mum ? Hope you are enjoying the great sunny weather here in Ireland cool
laugh Zman, Your friend sounds just fine... a nice yacht and he has a few faults, do you think he'd have me ??smitten
Hi GG, wave I believe in compatibility and seeing that I have a coherent profile text and can put together a sentence, I expect similar and in order to have a stimulation conversation, someone with a similar outlook/attitude/education should be at the other end to keep each others interest. Everything else is a waste of time and I don't do rude people anyways. wink

Lots of these kind of emails around from what I heard of other posters. laugh I don't reply to these kind of emails as a "thanks, but no thanks" often sparks nastiness.

I have no problem with typos/sytax as well as long as it's coherent. conversing

Thanks for good wishes GG, I'm back in Ireland working and spend the last 2 weekends with my mum and family in Germany (working there for a couple of days during the week). Weather was lovely and we spend one day at a flower show and got some great ideas there. cool Great weather in Kilkenny, too! cheering
i couldn't spell my middle name until I was 27 years old, so i think its wrong to harshly judge others based on there written communication skills, and quite silly to think others give a rats whether someone is using proper English...internet or more correctly chat forums dispensed with english years ago.

G'day mate hows you been trucking?
Did you hear about the Donny Brook at the Frog and Toad the other night?

ye all gotta be kidding
