Crossing boundries...

My whole life I've been living in this small town, haven't been past my own borders... The type of person to take flowers to friends in the old age home or just take a walk on the beach alone when the weather is good.. Now I've been given the oppertunity to move to Dallas, Texas next month... Leave everything behind... I try to be strong but I guess I need to break a little to grow a lot...

Thank you guys... Will definitely be taking my leap... I have family in Dallas who will pay for me to come over and help me find a job... I haven't found a man yet... Will cease to look for now so that it doesn't cause any complications...

Hello HL,

I can only speak here from personal experiences. I lived all my life in a very small community where everyone knows everyone else. There was really not much for opportunity there. It was economically depressed; therefore, living comfortable was a difficult task. On top of that, it was sort of mundane and boring with nothing much to do. Though I had plenty of family and friends there, it still did not hold me back from moving. Now days with technology, my friends and family are still close to me despite many miles separating us.

Moving to my new location is one of the most incredible things I have done in my life. The feeling is like I moved to a new world/life. It has given me a more in depth perception on life. I do not have any intentions on moving back. In fact, it has made me wonder, what else am I missing in life?

If you decide to move, I wish you a smooth and safe transition.
