what if love hurt you?

LOL,when you read the title ,you must be laughing at me,because who believes love existing in this world now days:) .I didnt believe in it either,but it did happened when I met him:) but what I got from it is just hurt:(, silly? yes,but dont regret it.still in pain right now,trying to recover.

Just left without having the decency to say goodbye..

Just like you, I feel hurt, sad and humiliated too but I need to get on with my life. Move on from all these pain and disappointment...

It's gonna be a hard and arduous journey but I believe I'll get there!

Maybe one should enter the pool by dipping one's toe in the shallow end of the pool, and slowly wading into the deep end rather than doing a triple - somersault dive into the deep end?

Sorry to hear your LDR hasn't worked out

I am not a great fan of them myself, and definitely do no believe they are 'real' until you meet in person.

Having said that, I did meet my b/f online, and it was a year before we actually met in person

But we just chatted online till then -no dating/exclusivity etc.

There Is hope..just stay off those Chinese divingboards!!

Hi Lucy…What I know is that the more you invest your feelings the more chances of being hurt. But just like on the blogs I read here in CS. “Take a risk, meet someone new if it doesn't work you've tried if you fall in love you've won but its not the outcome that matters but the JOURNEY along the way.
Even with a complicated life I'm just looking to make that special connection also who knows, it might just be a magic one!”

@Mimi.. you’re not alone my friend. I am into that situation also. As days goes by, I am hurt coz I feel that I was left behind and I don’t know what to expect anymore. To that point that I feel that I am floating with our situation. I want to let go but my heart says “wait for him to explain”..

Unfortunately the only way to avoid getting hurt is to avoid falling in love in the first place. You take the risk and hope for the best or you stay without....no other options I know of.

it all comes down to great expectations....wen you meet someones and hes soooo nice..thats where you should stop..and say to yourself.."im not going to go crazt here over this guy".."im not going to dream of how its going to be"..its called "Great Expectations"...if we have great expectations and it doesnt work out...then weve done it to our selves..havnt we?..So..if you meet someone..(dont start dreaming)....and if it all falls apart..youre left with..."i knew it wasnt going to work"...and you wont feel so bad......
