Facebook information...I dont think so

Hi everyone. Few days ago I had an e-mail from a nice man. I thought it was a good idea to be friends too. However his idea was me giving him my facebook name so he could find me and see more pictures. I dont know what you think guys but for me thats too much after just one e-mail conversation. I understand facebook its a social net but for me its a good way to comunicate with relatives and good friends, and to become a real friend takes time and confidence.
On the other hand I think good friends are people who share interests and anjoy their personalities and that has nothing to do with the way I look on my pictures. What do you think??

I had the same exact thing happen to me with a woman emailing me. I am with you...it was too much to ask for too soon. I declined to give "her" that info.

Takes time and effort to get to know people,i agree with youre approach,if someone isnt prepared to build a friendship or indeed a relationship in the same manner you yourself would then its not the best start to any meaningful contact,be it friend or otherwise...I personally see no need for any mad rush for loads of pics etc....Tiz merely my opinion though...

30 - 50 emails back and forth, writing on blogs back and forth, some external verification of identity, all those things I require before even thinking of Facebooking someone. Stand your ground.
