Sponge

I have been cleaning dishes at my home and noticing that I have been consuming so many sponges. They were tearing easily till finally I found the cause. I was folding the sponge so I could wash the front and back of the utensil. This folding caused the sponge to tear. Now I wash the front and then the back of the utensil with out folding the sponge. Now why did I not think of this before

Maybe for you Jarred money grows ob trees but not for me
Thank you sparkherup for showing interest in the sponge subject. You asked if I have other interesting stories. In fact I do. I noticed that shoes these days are not made with arches and that is why most people have arched backs. I bought the round things they put under the glass of a table so it does not move and replaced it on the shoe where the arch of the foot is. It did slow down my walk but improved my posture.
Yes Hans a dish washer might be a good idea but I have reasons that I cannot mention here for not buying one
Thank you wallops, you enjoy your day too.
Bye every body for now. Have things to do
Be nice Sparky scold scold scold Otherwise you'd be chastised by Lady M devil devil devil
The big things don't bother me. It's the small things like that silly sponge!! laugh
This is a funny blog.rolling on the floor laughing When you run out of sponges, start using a wash cloth.laugh Sheesh!doh
Sponges??...we got enough of them on this site already....
Yes gentlejim a washcloth will do but the idea is to save money. I think wash cloth are more expensive than sponges
You're not just saving money, but the environment, too. If were all careful about the small things, it would save a lot chemicals being used to make the sponges and reduce landfill. handshake
You should use 3M scrub sponges, they last for years and don't object much to being folded.
Thank you Ken19. They could be more expensive but it is worth checking. Hope they have them here.
Yes jack the gripper you are right. It all adds up.
