Now, my biggest concern is that the price of (good) bacon has gone sky high...

That would be one solution, but living in the city... deters that idea.
Then you say, have someone in the countryside do it for you... then we're right back where we started... high prices... Oh, well... hell... everything else is increasing in price anyway.
