a Zen story

One day a Zen master gave his disciples a lesson.He had a cat in his left hand,and a knife in his right hand.And he said,
” If you say something ,I will kill it.And if you say nothing,I will kill it.
What will you do ?”.

...What would you do ?...Is it too easy for you ?...
