BEING THERE
I got up this morning and while drinking my coffee and watching the news a commercial came on showing a mother with child and dad walks in the door and the little boy runs to his dad..then on the screen comes BEING THERE.I remember years back another commercial that would come on late in the evening saying DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR KIDS ARE.Have we came to the point now that we need tv to tell us we are family or you have a family
..I remember as a young kid one thing I knew was that evening we would be at the supper table together and when I woke they would still be there,{now that was the days of family},,I know that divorce is at a high rate in the states but yet you can still be there for kids. Don't really know what I am trying to say here but thought, have we came to this..tv has to remind us we are family 
I think I will call my family just to say hello, I love you

i have to agree with zman...they like to evoke emotion to sell something...but understand that it may conjure up feelings of what family should be...or just to make sure you have to reconnect...anyways it doesn't hurt...

Was it a commercial that was saling something? Or just talking about family time only! Or they findly care without trying to sale something.
U have a valid point there and it is happening all over the world.
I have noticed that poorer kids are better looked after than kids with more money. Poor people still understand the concept of family while rich people go out all the time to enjoy themselves leaving the kids alone at home to do whatever they please, or with a babysitter that is sometimes very corrupt. The older the kids r the more free their living becomes. They r into drugs, booze, u name it.

I know what your blog say! I can read English a lot. Now! Since it wasn't saling nothing. It was reminding you about family. Because! I see my family everyday! They are my family. But I can send them to you. So! You can spend some time with them too! ( Spread The Love)
