CEO'S OF BIG ORGANISATIONS ARE UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE !

When the price of oil and petrol rises,CEO'S increases prices of their products within a short notice, and penalising the consumers.

But since oil and petrol prices fell so low globally, prices of products have not fallen also.CEO'S are just being ungrateful.laugh

It never sees to amaze me the greed of some people thumbs down
sees or ceases ?doh
Business doesn't mean you should steal from others when situations are not good, and fails to give back when situations are good, men this is not called business but greed. Have you ever seen a CEO debating on the size of his bonuses when situations are not good?
it took more than 2 years to have gasoline prices lower than $2.00 here in America, it took only 30 days for prices to go up $2.00 is the name of the game.
these are the same people denying of global warming
their businesses could disappeared
Yes, they hate hearing about global warming and right wing politicians here will do everything to defend their interest.Recently in France, one appointed CEO of a government owned parastatal refused a monthly salary of 450,000 euros, about ($510,000), and said it was below standard, he is already on pension earning 950,000 euros per month.about a $1,000,000.
Speculation on PBD tonight was sbout oil at $10 a barrel not too fsr away.
so,you would cut the price of old Stock ,even though you paid more for it?
Doubt if anyone would be fool enough to sell ten-thousand Gallons of Gasoline they paid $3.- for a price of $1.50!
Bad Business!
As long as you have old Stock, you can't afford to drop the price!laugh
Their job is to make money for the stockholders, they are not a charity.

Most people are employed and are relying on a CEO to keep the company going to be able to keep employment up and to pay their salaries.

My question is, when they increased the prices of goods, because of increase in the prices of oil, where was the price of their old stock of goods?
Can you tell me the old stock of goods for airline industries?

No one is suggesting that, organisations are charity groups, we know they are out to make money,"what i am suggesting is that these guys are "ethically" wrong are very ungrateful.

Have you ever heard a CEO say, reduce my salary or bonuses because business was bad? "Also note that, successful organisations in the near future will be those that have ethical relationship with the public and consumers, because other big players are increasingly changing the landscape of business! China,Russia, Brazil, South Africa, South Korea etc.
I work for a medium sized company and looking at my boss (who isn't the CEO but high up), I wouldn't want his job - a lot of pressure to keep it all going.

If the CEO is the owner, I actually do think that some of them do take cuts to their pay if times are bad.

If you are working in a B to C environment, you must display some ethics, or your customers won't deal with you again.
I myself have been a bit disappointed that the prices of airline tickets hasn't gone down one bit with the price of oil being lower. Oh, when fuel goes up, prices surely rise---but when they go down.....they don't? really? thumbs down
Prettyprecious, that is exactly what i am questioning, fairness. Already these greedy CEO'S are planning for price increase when the price of oil goes up.
We all know the oil companies have always played games with their prices....there have been news stories regarding this in the past. The airlines are not playing fair with us right now, either "because people are still buying airline tickets" is their reasoning for the prices not falling...so only if people quit flying so much, will work no matter how low the price of fuel goes...I think it's greedyroll eyes
The only simple reason i can see why CEO'S will not reduce prices of their products, even though prices of oil has fallen triple down, is that; " As CEO'S increases price, it creates a mechanism that automatically increase the share prices and the value of their companies." So, reducing prices now will reduce the market value of their companies.
Such a shame that all the consumers get the short end of the stickuncertain
