How old is your oldest article....

How old is your oldest article of clothing that you still wear? I have a pair of Levis jeans that are at least 10 years old. I had to bring them in once to get the crotch area patched, but they are still holding up. I am wondering if I can get 30 years out of them? laugh

Hi Johnny! I always like to buy new clothes. But I still have a skirt from my school times, and even if it has been washed 100 times the fragrance of remembrances remains on it. dance happy place

I saw a lady in a Wally World store yesterday who's winter coat was over 20 years old.It reminded me of what the Eskimos wore many moons ago.

I've got a ski jacket I bought in 1985, I can only wear it for work now as it's a bit raggedy to go in the washing machine crying though not an item of clothing I'm still using my first razor bought in 1965 banana I'm hoping it will see me out professor maybe I should leave it someone in my will dunno laugh rolling on the floor laughing laugh

I've got stuff sitting in trunks I wore when 14. I am sure that if I live long enough I will shrink and one day they will fit again. laugh

Hey Z....

You got me envious with your ski jacket...you actually got 30 years of use out of it. thumbs up thumbs up Is there any secret to having clothes last that long? So far with my jeans, I have been learning the heard way. laugh

A 1965 razor, that must be one of those where you turn the handle and the top opens up on it? Can you even still buy the blades for those anymore? laugh

Ken, they say that we get shorter as we age...or shrink. Maybe you kept those cloths for a good reason. grin If you ever fit into them again, and are still on here, you will have to post a pic. I would love to see them.
