The "defects" of Jesus (part 2)
Hi everyone!Do you agree with me Jesus was the most weird character in the history of the world ever? If He's a normal person like all people, then I would not loving Him as I've done. And more again... that's...
Jesus didn't know how to do the math
In the parable of "The lost sheep" ( Matthew 18, 12-14; Luke 15, 4-7), we see the behavior of Jesus showed He did not know how to calculate. One who has 100 sheep in an open area, and then He lost one sheep. Can not understand how He calculated that 1 lost sheep that was worth more than 99 (?), because He has left 99 sheep to go looking for the lost one! 1 is bigger, 1 is be worth more than 99? Not true! It seems that Jesus didn't know how to do the math!

... Wonderful, counsellor, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
I know you love him Xmai, I join you in that great love for him.
"For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Wallops, you said that you join me in that great love for him, so... can you help me to find some "defects of Jesus"? Thank you in advance for your help!
I am not familiar with this story, but I will take your word that what you said is correct. The only thing I can make from it is that it is symbolic. Basically, the one who escaped did not have the "herd mentality" like the others....therefore making it more noble/brave than the rest. Maybe what he meant is one should not be afraid to be their own being, even if it means straying from the rest.
Just my take on it.
I am glad you understand my mind. Let's see this picture, what words Jesus said in (Mark 2,17). Love you Johnny!
Because He inherently is God Almighty, but He did not choose to be born in splendid palaces, but His fate was selected like a the bum, and He wandered ..., and He did communicate, make friends with people who were rated as poor, bad, sinful, ... etc ...
Whether whatever He was ... . I still love Him my Jesus!
I've written "Defects" (not defects)
And If Jesus was a prince lived in the palace and was the son of an earthly king, I never loved him. And as we are creatures, if we live in the condition of human misery, which is normal, but Jesus is God Almighty, and He spent His life's with extremely humiliation human life, that was very "weird"! And I so much love "Weird Jesus"! Thank you again.
It's not math. It's Jesus way of saying the 99 are safe because they stayed as a flock. The 1 lost sheep is one of the flock that decided to leave. Even if the sheep knew where it was going it was still lost.
In Jesus way of explaining the believers He calls them "sheep". Jesus therefore calls himself the sheepherder because He gathers the flock. But one of the flock stopped believing so he is now lost. Lost in this instance is this lost sheep stopped believing so Jesus Christ the Living God is going to bring him back to the flock.
So we do have a palace and it didn't cost anything. God is giving it to us because we believe!
And how good your new house?
