It's everybody's choice. Just don't worry about it :-) Sometimes when I write something political, I don't allow comments anymore because I don't want to argue. Funny stuff, I allow comments because everybody can have a laugh.

I understand what you say - somewhat.....

What does a blog mean to you? To me whatever I say it is a chance to see what others think and the emails where I chat behind blog are important factor to know a person.

But you say sometimes - he never seem allow comments?

In my opinion blog is to have your opinion on the table and then others enlighten it with their views but sometimes we just like to be heard.

Sorry weesally but I'm not going to ask him cause it's his business not mine and he doesn't have to answer to me.

There isn't anything in the rules that say that someone can't lock their blogs.

You will just have to accept his right to do so.

He used to allow comments, when I first joined. I think he's in a relationship and the deal is he can post blogs but not start conversations. He does join conversations sometimes. Will probably join this one.

Probably with a picture.

Let me understand this right so if someone isn't actually looking for someone then they are just wasting their time being here and amusing themselves? If that is true then it's his business what he chooses to do with his own business.


He isn't doing harm to no one and pretty much stays to himself which is not a bad idea to do sometimes especially on the internet.

I don't remember him being disrespectful to anyone.


We could use more people such as him.

Hey Sally Right you ask what blog means to me. I use it to write stuff that I have on my mind. Could be anything from serious to funny. It's my own opinion and unlike in the threads, it's really not up for discussion. If I want to put something up for everyone to comment (good or bad) I put it in the forum. Here, it's more personal and people can give input, but it's not a discussion or place to argue. That's my own view.

Yes, you're right, if you want to get to know someone then blogging comments are a great way to do it and to email. No argument from me. I agree with you.

He doesn't want participation and he doesn't want to get to know anybody. His choice, you know . I can hear you thinking: then what's the point of being here and yes, I'd agree, but we are different people. He has his reasons for doing what he does and he's not bothering anybody, so I think we should just let him be.

I sometimes wonder why he's copying all of youtube's music videos , but hey.. you know.. whatever floats his boat

Wess I don't have to explain or justify myself to you or anyone nor am I trying to argue with you.I do have a right to my opinion.

Sally I didn't just give up looking for anyone.I was happily married to my late husband for over 30 yrs.
