What A Train Smash

The rugby is over, my team lost and my friends have gone home. I’m too tired for another glass of wine but not tired enough for going to bed.dunno

It was not a planned evening. Everybody just rocked up at more or less the same time with their cool boxes. Why do I smell a conspiracy? But it was a great evening. We (the men) packed a fire and parked in front of the TV to watch the first game. And what good rugby it was.thumbs up

Their wives surprised us. Between the two games, we were treated on crispy barbequed muttonchops and salads. So good that we missed the first 30 minutes of the game we really wanted to see.wow

My supply of white wine took a good dent before they left but while we watched the remainder of the second game, the dear ladies cleaned my kitchen again. I wish I had the presence of mind to see if they wore their shoes. I don’t think any were pregnant. We’re too old for that.doh

And now they’re gone and I sit here alone and wonder if I should pour another glass of wine or go to bed. My empty bed does not sound very interesting at the moment, so I guess the glass of wine is going to win after all.giggle

Ag sorry Cat. Hope it was good rugby, though. Sterkte. wine
At least you've got a bed, albeit an empty one....

Me? I sleep on the floor with just a thin straw mat blues
hi Viv
the first game was excellent. My team disappointed in the second game but it was to be expected. It was the last game of the tournament, they're already in the finals, and the played a funny team to rest the regular players for the finals. Not a single player who ran onto the field last week, played today. The replaced the entire team.doh

Oh! I forgot to mention, I don't even have a room...I sleep on the floor in the living room....blues
Hi BC
And where do you hang your clothes?confused
grinhug
I don't wear any!! tongue

Jokes aside. My current house has 10 rooms. It's a triple-storey house. The kids and I are staying at the lower ground floor and it has only 2 rooms. The rest of the upper units have been rented out to university students. We have 2 universities here and at present there are like some 20,000 students in this very small town. uh oh

Since there are only 2 rooms, my kids got them, naturally. My daughter has the bigger one coz being a girl, she has more stuff wink Also, she has a four-poster bed therefore requires a bigger room. I keep my clothes in her wardrobe but I need to get another new one soon coz now that I've started dating again, I've been on a shopping spree for clothes........and shoes grin
Ho DC.
And handbags, I suppose. Or do you have enough? (Can a woman ever have enough handbags?) Women!!grin

Where on Earth are you at the present time. Is it anywhere near Malaysia? I'm trying to find your warehouse. I know I visited your warehouse too often in the past but there is no need to go into hiding like this. I'm completely out of cupcakes.frustrated
grin laugh wine
I changed my 'country' to Brunei coz I'm playing hide & seek with someone here wink grin

My current location is Kampar, a small town, an hour's drive from my hometown. This town was almost forgotten when they built a highway nearby some 30 years ago but was revived when 2 universities were built less than 10 years ago.

It's a nice and safe enough place to bring up the kids.
Thanks DC
I hope it is not another red herring to lead me away from your warehouse.rolling on the floor laughing
