women seeking rich older men to pay their universi
It's been euphemistically referred to as "mutually beneficial, transactional dating" but is the growing world of "sugar daddy" relationships just a sanitised term for sex work?Freya is 22 and wearing jogging bottoms and a tatty T-shirt. She expresses herself unaffectedly and confidently.
She decided to start sleeping with older men for money while she was at university. "I love sex," says Freya. "And you know, I'm pretty good at it. So getting a sugar daddy - or two - was a no-brainer really."

At least she was an honest gold digger
PS I'm gonna have to charge you an advertising fee for that last statement !
I was young ! I needed the money.
Its hard to argue with that logic,
Not to mention arguing with a pretty face
Your a shrewd Lady
How are you mate.
That is a great point you make. It is very wise to consider our future,
But You and I both know that young people have eternally short sighted optimism.
Aww! No Comment At This Time. Hun....
So! I will just agree with everybody.
I agree with you,
I don't think they are planning on political careers.
But Perhaps Solicitors or Lawyers so be nice.
Truth is stranger than fiction my friend
But having said that, aren't we all. The difference is they don't need that money for that purpose but to build for a comfortable life all money can provide that suits the hedonistic tendencies of monied old men.
perpetual students.
That's a blog topic in itself.
Frankly I'd rather see these acts of narcissism upfront so deceit is eliminated than an angel robed in wool with the devil's concessions.
this whole deal of women seeking older men to pay their university fees and bills? Is it against any Penal Codes or anything? Just wondering, see -->

I agree with that, very well put.
Nice to see you too...hope things are good with you...
"I guess going to university is the excuse..."
I guess it is. well spotted. And good point
"I often wonder why women and men are so obsessed with material possessions"
Could be as simple a reason as peer pressure, or maybe more complicated psychological issues
And yes it does seem society has a new found religion,
or perhaps it is just an extension of the old one.

Thats me on a good day
this reminds me of a passage from the book The Prophet,
by Khalil Gibran... from the chapter 'On Crime and Punishment'
"... and the weak cannot fall lower than the lowest which is in you also.
And as a single leaf turns not yellow but with the silent knowledge of the whole tree,
So the wrong-doer cannot do wrong without the hidden will of you all.
Like a procession you walk together towards your god-self.
You are the way and the wayfarers.
And when one of you falls down he falls for those behind him... "
ty for your blog

In Minnesota, I have a lot of friends who go to work there for 12 months and come home and pay their house cash and then live on good income. A very real situation that show us the motivations and interests of the people for a monetary comfort in the future.
Yes its very sickening ain't it..These girl's might profit from doing that but i highly doubt their happy.
What ever happened to old fashion love ???.
Tango
I don't disagree with you...at some point these women may regret their association with the trade...it seems that the attraction is about material goods in exchange for company...that said...loosely based at the expectations...but this exchange has been happening for years...do we accept it or discourage it...it is legal...no one is forced to do anything...
Thanks for that, and I see the merits of your argument
And what was Blair anyway if not Thatcherite economics plus social Liberalism with Gordon Brown and his benefit cheques? He was a mish-mash of political correctness(a.k.a Leafy suburban or cosmopolitan Leftism)and Thatcherite economics both of which, in the world of 2015, have been proved failures living on borrowed time.
You are so right. We build our character skill sets in youth and build upon them as we go, I suppose later in life some will find they have built themselves a house of cards with no solid foundation
Thanks for the observance
