Water, I have a drip.

Sad cryingbut it is true. Why did it happen when water is so scarce.
The used laundry buckets are recycled during the day and that is the best I can do.
My wonderful buckets are filled with life (water), I wash my shoes and water my plants.
Cleaning my floors with drips from shower is a blessing.
Please never waste what is and has been given freely.

Water costs a fortune here in England.

That's a sure way to prevent people wasting it. I fill my bowl with my shower head when the heating's off. Water the garden with the washing up water and I'd happily shower with the right friend.

Tiz rather admirable the way you think....I think...
I just took my jack russel "Sprinkles" for a walk,,several gardens i passed had the hosepipe sprinklers on, dousing theyre lawns.....
The mentality being that "its warm so we should water the lawn"....
It rained for almost an hour last night doh Dont feel too bad about youre drip,,,you are being resourceful and making good use of the water....These people flooding theyre lawns are wasting gallons and gallons just because they CAN....mumbling

Risk their wrath, but blame the wine growers. They waste much water with open ditch irrigation.

Old blog.. but so true.. i live off solar power.. have for the last 14 years.. its a finite resource.. and by doing so I've learned much respect for not wasting anything.. just as events of my past has taught me just how much of a crime it is to waste food..
