Hi Sands,
We have plenty of goats and cattle walking free in our townships though I have never seen any going rampant.laugh

Goat is tasty as mutton, you only need to cook it a bit longer, it is tougher. It also do well on a barbeque. I prefer goat above mutton.
cheers wave
dewi....got my goat on that one...rolling on the floor laughing
Morning Cats, we call mutton lamb here in these parts. One year for Christmas dinner I had a leg of lamb, which I marinated for 4 or 5 days with garlic and mint and I bbq'd it. Risky business when your inlaws are there, but it was an absolute smash, it was sooooo good...cheers
Sands.....rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing Really funny to watch but maybe not for those who are on receiving end from the goat! Yeah, goats are ornery critters (as we say here)....they are also escape artists and very difficult to contain in any kind of enclosure. My relatives had 4 goats inc a billy goat....they were always lose from their pen and I personally witnessed one "belly crawl" out from under the wire fencing on the pen....where there was any avenue of escape, they would find it! Then to finish this story their choice on the food chain always involved the most expensive of the landscaped plants....they would head for the Japanese maples and other pricey plantings and finish the food course with the front porch petunias and other bedding plants. Yes, they had weapons of mass destruction...themselves! So finally enough was enough with this bunch and there was really no good reason to continue this battle with them on escaping...it was clear the goats were winning! They all took the long ride to the local sale barn where some other poor soul would no doubt buy them! Thanks for posting this video about the goat...brings back memories....Avias grin
Hi avais, who would have guessed they are such a nuisance. Now, they do have expensive taste however, Japanese Maple trees are quite expensive...grin cheers
for whom the bell toll????head banger
Hi Sands,
Over here there is a distinct difference between lamb and mutton. Mutton is a much older sheep, More tasty than lamb but a little tougher. It also is cheaper than lamb.
hug wave
Hi, DH......hopefully, not for me or you grin cheers
Hi Cat, I guess like a calf..for veal cutlets...vs. a cow...for dunno dunno they don't have old cattle veal cutlets...I guess more like a 20 year old vs a 60 year old....confused confused In any case they're all good tasting......rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
