"ON THE ROAD AGAIN"..(4)

Sign In Connecticut Says "No Hitch Hiking"(I Remember The Days When Everyone Was Hitch Hiking..But Those Days Are Gone Now
Theres A trucking Company Called "On Time Trucking"(Ill Never Work For Them..Thats For Sure)
Goin Thru A Construction Zone(One Lane..Jersey barriers On Both Sides)And They Have A Sign Sayin "No Passing"...Really!!??
Aaaand On These One Lane Jobs Thaey Have Emergency Pullovers(But What do You Do if It Doesnt Happen At That Moment Of The Pullover?)
For All The Harrassing Of truck Drivers In Ohio By The Staties It Was Enjoyable To see An Ohio State trooper Changing his Tire On His Police car In The Pouring rain(Justice Was Served)
Then There Was A Little Mole Walking by My Truck When I was Stopped And I Got Out..Hes Blind So he Couldnt See me(I Couldve Stepped On Him..But I Watch Him Go On His Way Sniffing The ground As He Went On
Sometimes Along The Highway There Are sanctuaries For Wild Flowers.
As The Signs say for The Highway Workers "Do Not Cut"
Also Someone Planted 2 Sun Flowers inches from the Asphalt..(They Were About 3 feet High And Seemed To be Doing Well)
Along I 80 In Kentucky I Passed an Abandoned Drive In Theater(The Portable Speakers Were Gone And The Place Was In Decay(But I Still Could Picture It Filled Up With cars As They waited For The darkness to Fall)
Some Small Birds Were Harrassing A hawk As he Flew On His way(They kept pouncing on His back from Above Him
Saw A deer In The Distance Drinking From The Huron River(Nice Peaceful Sight To See)
There was A Dead Hawk On The Road..I Presume he Wasnt Flying High Enough And Collided With A Truck
1 Turkey Popped His Head Up As I Went by(Was He Watching Me?)
Aand A Sad Thing Was A cardinal Flapping On The ground In The Middle Of The Highway(Cars Everywhere)And His Mate Darting From The cars Trying To get To Him(Im Glad I Didnt see What happened After)
And Lastly And The saddest Of Them All Was
A Mother Duck(On The Line Of The Highway,,With her 5 New Born babies behind her In A Row
And As I Went by?
In The Mirror I could see her Walking Slowly On To The Highway..With The Little Ones Following...Im Sure I Know What happened And Glad I Wasnt There To See
Sometimes There Are Happy Things To See
And Sometimes There Are Things You Wish You Could Do Something ..But You Know You cant
But Thats How it When Your "On The Road Again"............

No Power Steering And i just Made it To The Side of the Road(That Aint Fun).......................detective
Miss Crazy

Ive Seen A Lot of Horses Out There In My Travels
I Would Presume They All Have Names..............detective

Love to do road trips...the many different sights to see...not the sad ones...but love the adventure of going to different places and camping out when tired...used to look at all the graffiti in the out houses...and the silly sayings that people posted...

Take care and be safe...wine
Hi Nam

Thank you for the ride, I enjoyed it! Looking forward to the next one.

Stay safe wine
Hi Nam
In the good old days, I picked up a lot of hitchhikers. Sometimes more than one. They were good company on a monotonous road. I even allowed some of them to drive my car occasionally when I got tired.

But today you cannot dare to do it. I pick up nobody. Not even a woman.

Some years ago a fella picked up a woman and a minutes later she pulled out a knife and forced him to stop for her friend. They left him there and drove off with his car.frustrated
cheers wine
Thanks Usha
Our Worst Enemy out there Are the Four Wheelers(cars)
They Are Constantly cutting us off..Squeezing in front of us where if they Have to stop suddenly..we cant ..and theyre in trouble at that Point
And of Course There Are the The Ones I call "Special People"..These People enter the highway..They Dont Look..Just cruise as if They Are Already On The Highway..And Then At The Point Where they run Out Of Lane..They look and Slam On Their brakes(Because theres a Tractor Trailer right there
Then They Catch up and give me The Finger
I Guess i Was Supposed To stop On The Highway For Them..........................detective
Lou Lou
Its an Adventure every time I Leave
Im Always Hoping that The Directions The navigation Gives Are Right
Sometimes It is Wrong..And When A tractor trailer takes A Wrong Turn..Thers no backing up(Not With 53 feet of traioler behind you..Now You Have to keep driving the Wrong way Till You Can Find A Place To Turn Around
One Time It Was 20 Miles before I Could Turn Around
And Another 20 Miles To get back To Where i took The Wrong Turn
Yeah..Id say Thats An Adventure............detective
Cocheta
Youre Welcome..I Hope You Had a good time
If Youre Coming again

Be There And be On Time....................detective
