i tried the read the first book but to be honest i was bored with it, so i skipped threw most of it to get to the end..but didn't she want him to change his ways? and what i thought was the turn on with the book was how much he WANTED her more so than HOW he tooK her instead.

I find Jac's comments to be very insightful and professional (not just this blog), her background is in the field of psychology. She sees things with more detail than most, but that's her training. If someone is willing to take the time to offer what I would call a professional opinion then I am all in favor of it......

I think some read too much into why some of us may take a fancy or a attraction to Christian Gray...like iv said in my first post for me the turn on was the WANT and not his actions.
Lordy me" but the way he wanted her, desired her, lost control,she drove him wild..phew" but what woman in love does not want to have that kind of effect on her man???

My personal view on that book is...
it opened eyes to women in how it should feel to be really desired... me thinks men have forgotten the importence in how a woman likes to feel wanted and desired
