The Drought Is Broken!
A far-off cousin farms in one of the driest regions in this country. Last week, when it rained there for the first time in 19 years, his 17-year-old son experienced rain for the first time.
When he heard the thunder and saw the lightning, while the water poured from the sky, he thought it was the Lord coming. He fainted with fear.
It took three buckets of sand to get him conscious again.
The lad is expected to recover form his ordeal, but with the scarcity of water, it was decided to do away with his under pants and trousers.

It is 7:20am.
My house help came to fetch her pay. She did not fetch it on Friday. She sent her husband to fetch it and I refused to give it to him without proper authorization from her.
I'd like to have a house help too. My house is really in a mess....
I don't know. He also helps me with the renovating. I gave him his pay.
If he squandered her money or lost it, I would have been compelled to give her pay to her again. I cannot give her money to somebody else.
Re the house help. A necessity. She comes in two or three times a week. She works out cheaper than a wife.
With a wife, you can always do wondrous things together...
Nah. this is my normal BS, but apparently the rain was gone when they discovered it and according to my cousin, not even the sea could wash it clean again.
While there may be certain perks in having a wife (I can vividly recall some of them), I am an economist (stingy) in my heart.
The overhead expenses simply does not justify the running costs.
It is more economic to tap other available sources on an ad hoc basis.
Too late for that, I fear. It is 8am. My normal rising time. Will be having breakfast soon.
I'm off to get me a train ticket back to Kuala Lumpur tonight!
